Dr. Fred Carter Custom Knives Set of 4 Engraved Preban Elephant Ivory Hunters

This set of 4 knives was made and engraved by AKI member Dr. Fred Carter. The scales are preban elephant ivory. This set of knives was featured in Dr. David Darom's "Great Collections" book.


The following are the knives' sizes listed from top to bottom in the picture: 3 3/4" blade 8" OAL, 4" blade 8" OAL, 3 1/4" blade 7 1/4" OAL, 3" blade 6 3/4" OAL.


Dr. Fred Carter's knives are quite desirable and his production knives have drop to a handful of knives each year. The set of knives were not made with sheaths.
