John W. Smith is in my opinion the best all around custom knife maker in the industry. He does it all from Engraving, Gold inlay work to forging his own Damascus. This handsome knife features John W. Smith's Sole Authorship Damascus, Engraving and 24Kt Gold inlays.
There are only 25 knifemakers whose work is deemed worthy enough to be a member of the AKI. John is a member of the AKI .
John W. Smith has signed the knife with a 24Kt Gold inlay and has inlayed 24Kt Gold along its spine. He finished the knife with fileworked liners, spine and a 14 Kt gold thumbstud.
Sadly, due to health issues John is no longer able to make knives.
