John Lewis Jensen Custom Knife Moon Storm featured In Dr. David Darom's Book.
The following was taken from John Lewis Jensen's website.
"Moon Storm was specially commissioned for inclusion in the book, "Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives", by Dr. David Darom. This book includes an eight page portfolio-style section of my work. Included within my section are a bio, personal statement, photo of the artist, as well as a special five stage photographic sequence documenting the creation of one of my specialties; my section shows the preparation, anodizing, and anodic painting of the titanium liners for "Moon Storm". I was also asked to write about the process and techniques of anodizing for a separate section describing the creation and/or use of some of the most common materials and processes used in knifemaking. "Moon Storm" gets its name from the combination of incredible lunar-like Mother of Pearl handle scales, and the chaotic pattern of the Damascus steel blade and bolsters which was the first that I forged myself." John Lewis Jensen has 165 hours of labor in this incredible work of art.
