Return Policy:
As collectors we know that there is nothing like holding a knife in your hand prior to purchasing it. We meticulously inspect each knife prior to offering it for sale on KnifePurveyor.com. You may return any knife purchased from KnifePurveyor.com LLC within five (5) days of receipt for a full refund. Shipping and insurance charges are not refundable. Merchandise must be returned in the same condition as when it was sold. Items found to be damaged or used will not be accepted or credited for return or exchange. Please contact us at (646) 872-0476 before returning any items. No exchanges or returns will be accepted after the five (5) day inspection period.

We require that your return shipping include full insurance and a signature confirmation. Please indicate the reason for your return and include the paperwork originally supplied. Be sure to include the sheath or case and securely package the knife for return.

Damage or Discrepancy in Shipments:
Complete customer satisfaction is our goal with every purchase made with us. Each knife is carefully inspected and securely packed prior to shipping. If there are any problems with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at (646) 872-0476.

KnifePurveyor.com LLC will not be responsible for any claims made after 24 hours. For insurance purposes in the instance where damage has occurred during delivery, please retain the entire package and its’ contents as well as the original packing materials for future inspection by the carrier.

We are unable to provide refunds in the event that the package that you have ordered was seized by customs or other agencies. Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt.

Order Agreement:
Once your submitted order has been received we will contact you regarding the availability of the item(s) and its’ total cost. The total cost will include the shipping and handling charges and insurance. Orders are shipped fully insured for the amount of purchase via United States Postal Service Express Mail with signature confirmation (unless otherwise specified). Insurance charges are calculated in the following manner: For domestic shipments the charge is 1% of its’ total value with a minimum charge of $10.00. International shipments have a charge of 2% of its’ total value with a minimum charge of $20.00. Sales tax applies to orders shipped within New York. We accept United States Postal Money Orders, Wire Transfers and Personal Checks. Personal checks may take up to 10 business days to clear before the item(s) is shipped. Product pricing and availability are subject to change without notice. KnifePurveyor.com is not responsible for printing or typographical errors.

Disclaimer of Warranty:
Knifepurveyor.com LLC makes no representations or warranties of any kind. As long as the knives are used properly; and the maker is still making knives, most knife makers guarantee their work. Natural handle materials such as wood, stag, ivory, pearl and bone are not covered by the knife makers' guarantee. These natural materials may crack, discolor or shrink due to a change in age, humidity or temperature.

Consignment Knives:
Acknowledging that collector’s tastes change we offer a consignment and trade-in program to meet our clients’ needs. In both cases the knives need to be in new and unused condition. Most of the knives sold by KnifePurveyor.com LLC are new from the maker and we frequently sell knives on consignment from collectors and makers alike.

Knives on consignment must be held by KnifePurveyor.com LLC when listed on our site. They must also be priced competitively (based on the condition and current market value) in order for them to be listed for sale on KnifePurveyor.com LLC.

On consignment knives there is an upfront fee of $25.00 which covers the photography and listing process. There is a 20% commission on all consignment knife sales. If you choose to use the proceeds from the consignment sale to purchase another knife from KnifePurveyor.com LLC, the fee for commission will be adjusted to 15%.

On KnifePurveyor.com LLC we meticulously inspect each knife prior to offering it for sale. Due to our high standards not all of the knives we receive will be accepted for consignment. During the knife consignment inspection process, KnifePurveyor.com LLC reserves the right to deny acceptance of any knife for any reason. Knives that do not meet our standards will be returned fully insured for the value of the knife via FedEx Second Day with signature confirmation (unless otherwise specified) at the collector's expense.

Trade in Policy:
Trading knives is another option which will allow a collector to upgrade his or her collection. If you are interested in trading a knife please e-mail us a picture of the knife, its’ specs and which knife you are interested in trading it for. Each trade will be individually assessed and evaluated.
