This knife was made by AKI member Tim Herman and hand engraved by Ray Cover Jr.ÂÂ
The opal scales are absolutely fantastic. They come from a mine called "Coober Pedy" which is located in Western Australia.  This is the only place on Earth where this white opal is found.  These two opal scales cut and polished in today's market cost $3,500.
