Sam Alfano Engraved Ron Lake Custom Knives Tail Lock Set of Two

This set of knives deserves to be displayed in a Museum. It features two top American Masters, Ron Lake and Master Engraver Sam Alfano. These Interfame Tail Locks are embellished with 24kt Gold inlays. One has Rams Horn inlays and one has Fossil Walrus inlays. They come in a beautiful made box, which is French fit for each knife. The box is accented with a Bulino Engraved Elephant done by Firmo Fracassi's daughter Francesca Fracassi. She and her father are considered to be the best Bulino engravers in Italy. Sam Alfano is considered by many to be among the top 3 American Engravers of all time. Sam is the only one of the those three that is still engraving today. He is a master at hand engraving and specializes in bank note scroll work as well as detailed Bulio. Any engraving by Sam Alfano is a one of a kind piece of art. The Ram's Horn comes with a fully engraved Bulino Bird Scene with 24kt Gold and all of the small details from the bail to the tail-lock have been engraved. The Fossilized Walrus is Bulino engraved with a Bird and Tiger theme. This Walrus does not include a bail however it has a 14kt Gold toothpick.
