Dellana Custom Knife “Black Magic” Sole Authorship Ladder Pattern Damascus 14K Gold “Meltdown” with Edwards Black Jade & Diamonds

The following is a knife made by AKI "Art Knife Invitational" member Dellana. She is the sole author of this spectacular piece. Dellana is a master jeweler and was a protege' of the late Master Jim Schmidt. This is the first knife that she has ever made with stone scales. The Black Edwards Jade scales were extremely difficult to acquire (it took me almost a year to find and procure the scale material). The Edwards Mine in Wyoming is the only place on Earth that Black Jade is found. The mine closed in 1958, since it has been closed for over 60 years, specimens of this caliber and size are extremely rare and costly. The Damascus blade is sole authorship accented with Dellana's signature 14Kt Gold "Dellana Dots". This knife also features Dellana's "Meltdown" Fabricated 14Kt Gold bolsters, spine and accents. The knife is finished with 4 cabochon Emeralds from the Sandawana mine in Zimbabwee which are bezel set in 22Kt Gold.
