Ron Lake Custom Knife 18Kt Gold Watch Pocket Tail Lock Engraved by Jon Robyn with “Bull and Bear” Stock Market Motif

This is an extremely rare Ron Lake "Watch Pocket" tail lock.   Ron invented the "Watch Pocket" sized knife with the thoughts that a gentleman would carry his knife in his vest pocket along with his pocket watch and keys.   

Ron made very few "Watch Pocket" knives and even fewer were done in solid 18Kt gold.  The ones that he made in gold were mainly 14Kt Gold.  This one was done in 18Kt Gold to make it that more special.  The Mother of Pearl Shell Inlays are the finest I have seen.  

The "Wall Street" engraving of the Bull and Bear were done by Master Engraver Jon Robyn. This knife was originally commissioned and sold at the Boutique luxury gallery "Barret and Smythe"  while it was in operation in NYC from the late 1980s and closed Spring of 2000.  They were known to sell the finest knives, firearms and other high-end men's items.
