This California Bowie was made by Master Smith Larry Fuegen for the AKI (Art Knife Invitational) knife show. Larry does all of the work by hand. As you can see, he is an amazing carver.

The fossilized walrus ivory handle has been carved with wonderful flowing patterns. The sheath has Sterling Silver fittings which has been stippled and has 18Kt Gold accents. The 18Kt gold accents are carried through with the daggers spacer, guard and name plate. This is an exceptional example of Larry Fuegen's work.
