The inlays are absolutely seamless. Antonio Fogarizzu's attention to detail, fit finish and design are regarded by many as the best of the Italian knife makers.
To open this knife, simply press down on the first 18Kt Gold Medallion inlay and the blade flys open. This is a hidden release Automatic and there are no spaces or seams to indicate where the release is.
The 18kt Gold Medallions are raised, but, the tortoise shell inlays are flush with the frame and very smooth.
Master Engraver Julie Warenski has graced this elegant folder with 24Kt Gold Inlays and has pave' set 3 Carats of G Color VS Quality Diamonds in it.
The blade grinds are even and straight and the action is very fast. The lock release lever is almost invisible. The finish on this piece is a beautiful polish.
