Adam DesRosiers, based in remote Southeast Alaska, began forging professional-quality knives in 2004 after training at the American Bladesmith Society’s school. Living off-grid alongside his wife Haley—also a Master Smith since 2011—he crafts integral hunters, Damascus chef knives, camp blades, and choppers entirely by hand. Each piece reflects his homesteader roots and deep understanding of functionality: forged in 1084/15N20 or W2 steel, fitted with natural materials like curly koa or desert ironwood, and heat-treated for durable, heirloom-grade performance His knives are celebrated for blending rugged utility with refined artistry—designed for wild Alaskan life yet sought after by collectors and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
