Alan Folts, based in Florida and active since 1992, is renowned for his sleek, compact fixed blades and folding knives with futuristic ergonomics. A prolific designer and full-time custom maker, he creates everything from tactical folders and minimalist neck knives to “Ritual” flippers and kitchen cutlery. Many of his designs—like the Minimalist series—have been licensed by CRKT. He’s also a passionate mentor, sharing his art at shows and through workshops, pushing the boundaries of precision and design in modern knifemaking.
