Anders Hogstrom

Anders Högström, a Swedish custom bladesmith, forges every knife by hand in his workshop—embracing Nordic, Japanese, and medieval influences. His repertoire includes fighters, bowies, daggers, tanto-style blades, kwaikens, and even swords. Using steels like 1050 spring steel with clay-tempered hamon and Damasteel stainless or Damascus for folders, he finishes each blade with hand filing, sanding, etching, and natural handles (e.g., walrus ivory, redwood burl, snakewood). His work exudes refined simplicity, tight grind lines, and artistic flair—making each piece a unique, heirloom-quality creation.
