Andre van Heerden is a member of the South African Knifemakers Guild. His designs are clean and streamline. Andre's work is superb; he chooses well matched premium materials and his fit and finish is perfect. This knife opens and closes silky smooth.
The Presentation Grade Mother of Pearl Shell has much fiery color which the camera did not capture. The cherry on top of this beauty is Helen van Wyck's engraving. She has engraved flowing scrolls of 24Kt Gold throughout the stainless steel bolsters.
