In 1985 when this knife was made it showcased the combined artistry of three of the finest artisans in the Custom Knife world. It is engraved in 24K Gold by Master Engraver Lynton McKenzie, Scrimshawed by Buster Warenski and made by D.E. Henry. After it was made, this knife was featured in Blade magazine then was placed into a private collection.

DE Henry knives RARELY come up for sale on the market, so here is a chance to get something very, very special. DE Henry in his career made less than 500 knives in total.

At the time, the top Bowie maker in the world was DE Henry. He made every knife without the use of a grinder or buffer. He only used hand tools, files and a wire brush to finish. It comes complete with a Silver Throat and Tip Leather Scabbard.

Buster Warenski was considered the finest artist of the Custom Knife world, he did not do many scrimshaw pieces and this one is simply fantastic. The center core Mammoth Ivory scales are perfect, there are no cracks or checks, it is simply perfect.

Lynton Mckenzie was the top American engraver, he specialized in firearm engraving but was the first top American engraver to transfer his talents over to the Custom Knife world. Out of all of Lynton McKenzie's engraving his gold inlay engraved work is the most sought-after and desirable.
