Steve Rapp Custom Knife Gold Quartz 18Kt Gold Wrapped Julie Warenski Engraved 24Kt Gold Inlaid
This is the finest San Francisco Gold Rush Style Dagger that I have ever seen. It was handmade by Art Knife Invitational Custom Knifemaker Steven Rapp. Steven Rapp was mentored and influenced by legendary art knife maker Buster Warenski.
The Black and White Gold Quartz is the rarest of all of the Gold Quartz on the planet. Gold Quartz of this caliber, if you could even acquire it, at minimum costs twice the spot price of gold per ounce. Keeping in mind, if available; you would be buying the rough specimen of Gold Quartz and paying for its entire weight not just the amount of Gold in the Gold quartz.
This Dagger weighs 9 ounces alone and the Scabbard weighs an additional 3.7 ounces. Based on the weight of the Dagger and Scabbard, I am estimating that there are at least 2 ounces of 18Kt Gold and at least 2 ounces of Gold Quartz in this amazing dagger. At today's (November 11th 2025) Gold spot price of $4,095.20 each ounce of Gold Quartz is valued at $8,190.40. Multiply 2 ounces of Gold Quartz $8,190.40 and the Gold Quartz value alone is over $16,380.
The entire frame of this Museum Quality San Francisco Dagger is made out of Solid 18Kt Gold. Take into consideration the 18Kt Gold price today (November 11th 2025) per ounce is $3,928.35 x 2 ounces = $7,856.70. In precious material value alone this Gold Rush Dagger has over $24,000 worth of value.
Added to this value is that the knife and scabbard have been hand engraved by Master Engraver Julie Warenski. Julie has hand inlaid 24Kt Gold into the guard and scabbard. The scabbard is finished with a Gold Quartz 18Kt Gold Frog, 18Kt Gold Ball and Throat. Capitalize on this opportunity to add this Masterpiece to your collection.
