A remarkable sole authorship Persian Fighter from the Master Smith Tom Ferry featuring his earlier Journeyman Smith mark on the blade. The downward swept recurve blade on this fighter has a very captivating appearance that is only matched by the exemplary balance created by the distal taper. The blade is fast moving, yet powerful. Tom created a highly detailed mosaic pattern in the high polished Damascus that he calls "Poinsettia". The hand hammered hot textured 1018 steel guard brings in a timeless organic power to the knife and is blued. The fossil Walrus handle is sculpted at the base, swelling gently to form a secure hand hold. This knife has truly exceptional fit and finish.
