Wade Tiensvold comes from a family renowned for their skill. Brother of Mastersmith Jason Tiensvold and son of Journeyman smith Alan Tiensvold. With the influence from his brother and father Wade Tiensvold has excellent exposure to two talented knifemakers and it is quite clear when you see this custom knife.


Wade Tiensvold forged the linear Damascus blade from 15N20 and 1084 Carbon steel. The thumbstud has Mother of Pearl set in it and the blade opens smoothly. The Nickle Silver scales are engraved by Alan Tiensvold. The theme of this knife is "Chief Crazy Eyes" the image is one that Wade had earlier sketched in a letter to Alan.


The fit and finish of the knife is first rate with the blade centered and a silky smooth action.
